School closure due to industrial action

St. Joseph’s school will be closed to pupils on Wednesday 30th November.

As you may be aware there is industrial action proposed across many public sectors in relation to changes to pensions. Many of our teachers and support staff are members of these unions. Following a risk assessment of the number of staff we have available for work that day it has been judged to be not viable to keep the school open.

Neither “Bright Sparks” nor Active Soccer will operate on this day.  Chris Emms, from Active Soccer will contact parents separately to organise an additional session.
