Christchurch Food Festival Chefs Return for 5th Year of Cookery

On Monday 28th January we welcomed Mary Reader, Ian Hewitt and Susan Spooner back into school to celebrate food and cooking with some of our KS2 children. This year they were joined by Ian Gibb, Head Chef from the King’s Arms in Christchurch, who talked about the use of local produce. Children in Years 5 and 6 were treated to a cookery demonstration and hands-on workshop to produce their own range of delicious recipes all made with local produce. The children are producing their own articles about the day for you to get a flavour of what went on. These will be online in the next couple of weeks.
