PTA Race Night 2020January 30th 2020
We are delighted to announce that our PTA Race Night this year will be held on Thursday 2nd April.
This popular PTA fundraiser is always a fantastic night full of fun, food and drink. Letters and flyers will be coming out shortly with details of how to buy a ticket.
How it works:
The idea of the race night is horse races played on a screen, we have a tote where bets are placed (picked from our programme). Winners collect their cash!
You also have the opportunity to buy your own horse and if it wins you automatically win a cash prize. You can buy up to 3 horses. (You can buy a ...

Journeying in the Faith – new year prayerJanuary 6th 2020
‘We are all God’s children
and will try to live, love, work and serve
as Jesus taught us.’
Prayers for the start of the new year
In the new year may we remember
Today’s decisions shape tomorrow’s outcomes
That living each moment the best we can
Creates a harmonious life.
May we remember
By holding fast to integrity
Others see we are trustworthy.
When times are rough
May we remember to turn in
To our close and ready source of comfort.
As we start a new year at St Joseph’s
May we remember that each new moment
Can be a fresh beginning....

Our PTA Summer Fayre last week was once again a great success and we are delighted to announce that together we made over £3,200!
As always it was a lovely community event and after a rather wet week we were very lucky with the weather!
A big thank you to the PTA and to everyone who helped in the run up to the event and on the day; to all the teachers, the Year 5 choir, Year 3 dancers and our Karate club who performed in the arena; to all the stallholders and parent helpers and to everyone who came to enjoy the event. PTA Christmas FayreDecember 3rd 2018
Thank you to everyone who came along to support our PTA Christmas Fayre - it was a great success!
It was a great family event with a magical Santa's Grotto which was a real hit with the kids, and a Secret Santa Room where children could secretly buy and wrap a present for their loved ones - the children really loved this too! We had a great selection of gift and craft stalls including Tropic Skincare, The Book People, Flamingo Paperie cards, designer perfume with Sorelle, hand knitted items from Crafty Wools, handmade bows with Emily Lockyer and locally made honey from beekeeper Johanna Mills. We had tombolas, homemade cakes, biscuit decorating, glitter tattoos with Sparkle Art Face Painting ...

PTA Summer Fayre 2018June 14th 2018
The PTA's Summer Fayre was once again a great success - even with it being held on an evening and was technically remaining a downscaled affair. As always there was a lovely feeling of community - with the St Joseph’s family and local community enjoying the super weather. Thank you to everyone who organised the fayre, helped on the day, performed in the “arena” and came to enjoy the event.
We are pleased to say that £2,945 was raised! Well done everyone! If you enjoyed the event please do consider joining our PTA as we do need more volunteers and helping hands to be able to put on events such as this, raising money for our school and enriching ...
